MODULE 1: CREATING YOUR VISION

Renovating without a clear vision is like sitting down in the rotating chair of hairdresser and saying, 'Do whatever you want". Chances are you'll spend a fortune and be forced to live with something you don't want.

By the end of Module 1, you will know how to: define your style. You will learn how to create vision board. A mood board usually shows how you want something to look rather than feel . Our vision boards do both.

They capture how you want your the aesthetics and, more importantly, how you want to feel in the finished space.

MODULE 2: UNDERSTANDING YOUR SPACE AND PREFERENCES

In this module, I want to provide you with the opportunity to really understand your space and your preferences. Understanding your needs and limitations is the first step in figuring out your requirements. It is the basis for any successful development project.

By the end of Module 2, you will know how to: plan your reno and prioritise what’s important to you, understand your space and design rules. And last, but not least, we’ll help you answer that all important question: should you renovate or detonate?

MODULE 3: CREATING FUNCTIONAL LAYOUT, SPACE ERGONOMIC, NORMS

In the modern world, the bathroom has become a place for relaxation, a place to escape from the hustle and bustle of our hectic lives. It is important for us to create a relaxing atmosphere as well as designing the space ergonomic. 

By the end of Module 3, you will learn basic of bathroom ergonomics, how to draw a floor plan of bathroom. The bathroom is a space that can be used for many different purposes. It is important to create a functional and ergonomic layout .

MODULE 4: Fixtures

Bathroom fixtures are the infrastructure of a bathroom and provide the necessary elements for its operation. There are many different types of bathroom fixtures that you can choose from. It is important to know the difference between them in order to make a good decision.

By the end of Module 4 you will know: differences between bathroom fixtures are the type of material they are made out of, the shape and size of their openings, and whether they are fixed or movable.

MODULE 5: TILES

Tiles play a highly important role as they not only waterproof the bathroom but also determine its overall look. With so many tile options available in the market in terms of materials, shapes, sizes, finishes, colours and patterns, choosing the best option for the bathroom can become confusing. There are many different types of bathroom tiles. Some are more affordable than others, some are easier to maintain than others, and some have a more aesthetic appeal than others.

By the end of Module 5 you will know: difference between types of bathroom tiles is the material that they're made out of,  how to calculate how many tile you need, understand diffidence with sizes and their properties.

MODULE 6: PROJECT MANAGEMENT AND BUDGETING

Regardless of your past experience. This module teaches you the foundations of every good reno planning!  Save yourself heartache by getting your dream team right from the start. Tips and tricks on how to keep your reno on track by working closely with your tradies (and your timeline)

By the end of Module 6, you will know: who you will need to work with on your project and how to get the best out of your contractors, architects and more. You’ll have a better understanding of the budgeting process and how to know you’re getting the best quotes.
